I ran an online test and it says my download speed is at 30 mbs and everything is fine. But when i go to play a game it just doesnt work.

Could be an issue on the game hosting side. Try streaming a movie. If that works you should have plenty of bandwidth for gaming. Is it a game you have run successfully before?
