Val Prinsep was a fairly well known "Pre-Raphelite" painter of the 19th century. I'd get a hold of Winterthur conservation Dept or the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington Del, they have one of the largest personl collections of pre Raphelite artists and probably keep records of market sales of many of these painters.
Prinsep was a Brit and he painted in India so his work has a lot of "japenisque" tinges and Odalisque figures in naughty poses.
Many of the pre Raphealite painters can command 6 figures in larger paintings
