Hello everyone.
We are looking for a rough valuation of a painting by Valentine Cameron Prinsep. Any help is greatly appreciated :-) Do you know about anyone / anywhere where we could get help (from) (any website perhaps) ?

Thank you so so much !

@Octopus1,
A search engine would be the best place to start your journey.

Just type in "Valentine Prinsep painting value" .

@Sturgis,
Val Prinsep was a fairly well known "Pre-Raphelite" painter of the 19th century. I'd get a hold of Winterthur conservation Dept or the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington Del, they have one of the largest personl collections of pre Raphelite artists and probably keep records of market sales of many of these painters.
Prinsep was a Brit and he painted in India so his work has a lot of "japenisque" tinges and Odalisque figures in naughty poses.

Many of the pre Raphealite painters can command 6 figures in larger paintings
