We've got one guy on this board who claims to have an IQ of 170 and that he remembers every fact he's ever learned. With luck he'll show up and answer this question.

I thought they might be significant speeches although I can't find anything for Lloyd George, but maybe someone else can.

Ramsay McDonald was the first British PM to speak before the US House of Representatives in 1929.

Winston Churchill gave his Iron Curtain speech in 1946

The Queen did the first televised Christmas broadcast in 1957.

Or I could be completely off track.

Thanks for finding that. It doesn't look like a particularly important speech though and I think knaivete might be more on track with the America and Canada visits.
