Have you ever heard about satellites that observe collecting agricultural data and tracking environmental changes? Personally, I`ve recently heard about such kind of sats

Yes I have heard of them. With modern electronics we can make satellites pretty darned small.

I found a website of a space company that manufactures these microsatellites and there is some description of the characteristics of those sats. And I was quite surprised that some of them are only 45 kg and less than 1 m in length but still rather capable.
