I'm 43 and quit following technology 20 years ago. Currently I sell Cyber insurance and in learning about that, as well as a deep desire to protect myself personally, I want to learn more about computers, cyber/cyber security, etc. However, I am not interested in making it a career, "All-In" kind of thing. (BTW... there is a huge gap and potential for tech folks in this area to make a lot of money and if I were actually interested in pursuing a career I'd be paving the way for innovation to bridge the gap in teaching the public about computers, the world of cyber, etc; I digress.) What courses would you suggest? Are there any short-term certification programs or vocational training programs? Is there free educational training through socialistic agendas that can provide, lol? To give you a sense of what I know, I understand the functionality of a VPN (soon to purchase) and have AVG premium. Yes... I'm that far behind. Hope you have a sense of what I'm looking for and can help. Thanks so much for anyone willing to respond. ****UPDATE**** About 4 minutes after posting the original comment: I'm new to this site and just realized this may not have been put in the right forum, so hope the right people see this, lol.
