Sean Connery has passed at the grand ol' age of 90.

The original and the best James Bond of all. RIP

Connery was a great actor. I enjoyed all of his movies although "league of extraordinary gentlemen" was a hard watch.

His role in Highlander was epic as was his James Bond roles.

@Brandon9000,
I always wanted to see Connery make more movies. Alas, we all ran out of time. Thank you Sir Sean for the marvelous entertainment. Rest In Peace.

@McGentrix,
Of course it was, the original story by Alan Moore was bastardised completely. They needed to include Tom Sawyer so American audiences would have someone to relate to and not switch off.

As the critics said at the time, Tom Sawyer, what’s he going to do, paint a ******* fence?

V for Vendetta was similarly fucked up by film makers.

"Entrapment" with Catherine Zeta-Jones was pretty good. So were "Medicine Man" and "Finding Forrester."

I haven't seen Finding Forrester and it's been so long since I seen The Name of the Rose I can't remember how it ends, I do remember a baby faced Christian Slater.
The same with Medicine man, I haven't seen it in years. 2 must watches.

The Highlander series was as you say Epic, he was great in them.

The last movie I seen him in was The man who would be King in which he played a bombastic ex British soldier in colonial India. (Great movie)
Ironic really as he was a fierce Scottish nationalist. I think it broke his heart when Scotland voted to remain subservient to Westminster.
