I have full beard, used to have short sides and back, 0 to 1 fade to 1 1/2 top. Want longer hair but looks fuzzy at 1/4 inch up to nearly an inch. I have ash brown hair, beard is darker for some reason, so I thought if I grew it long, like 6 inches, it will have nicer colors then what it has now. I'm not sure if long hair would suit me. Any idea where to go for advice if your not able to give advice? My beard is 6 months, going for full duck tail, darker brown rather then my head ash brown. I need styling help for my wife and 4 kids please.
@Helpabcdefg,
If male pattern baldness runs in your family, then guess what?
And if it doesn't, be patient! Healthy hair grows maybe half an inch per month. Tightly curled or kinked hair (think an afro) looks shorter. Blow drying can help to straighten it a bit, and there are hair straightener appliances if you don't mind taking some time.
And your wife and 4 kids will survive your short hair.
@jespah,
No im no where near going bald, don't look as old as I am,and its the trimming or looking like a homeless person, taming that, as I'm saying how will I survive it. Will I need to get hair cuts along the way?
