I’m thinking of buying a home, Do I need to ask the seller for a new test to be conducted by a qualified radon tester?

@Olympiapernille,
I don't know, but I've heard that radon is so heavy it collects in basements. If no basement, I wouldn't be concerned. If you are, you are likely going to have to pay for it yourself. You might (or might not) want to make the sale contingent on the result.

@roger,
"Radioactive water baths have been applied since 1906 in Jáchymov, Czech Republic, but even before radon discovery they were used in Bad Gastein, Austria."
