We knew 2020 was going to be bad but honestly I could have never predicted it would be this bad. The mask is off. Clearly social media companies are making a statement.
Complete and abject censorship on one side of the political aisle while the other side openly lies saying things that can easily be disproven with a google search or by simply checking your memory. Some of the stuff they are lying about only happened a few months ago. No fact checking for those lies. No tag under the post saying that it "contains misleading information." Fact checking and tags only happen when you disagree with the narrative of the big tech companies.
This of course is after Jack Dorsey spent over 3 hours on Joe Rogan with Tim Pool talking all about how they want an open platform of discussion and they don't censor dissenting opinions. Do you remember that? Well if you don't, the great thing about the internet is that you can just go watch it.
Considering what just happened in the past few days do you think Jack and Vijaya were being honest?

Most people are happy to use social media. And a good number of people want more censorship (i.e. stopping White Supremacists).

The majority of Americans voted against Trump in 2016. An even greater majority disapprove of Trump now.
