Do I need a comma before name at end of sentence?
Thank you for thinking of us during the birth of our daughter Jane.
or
Thank you for thinking of us during the birth of our daughter, Jane.

It’s optional, you don’t need it, but including it isn’t wrong.
I would choose the sentence that sounds more like how you speak. Would you pause between saying daughter and Jane? If you would, use a comma, if not, leave it out.
