Is this sentence clear on who would return from vacation or is there a better choice? Brennon would be the one returning from vacation.

Brennon is meeting with Mark on 7/28 when he returns from vacation.

No, it’s not clear. I would have said it was Mark.

When Brennan returns from his holiday he will be meeting Mark on 28/7.

Sorry I’m English, I can’t bring myself to use American phrasing or dates.
