f the population of Townville went from 2105 to 1705, then the percent decrease in population is closest to

A. 19

B. 21

C. 22

D. 23

E. 24

(2105 - 1705)/(2105) = P/100

400/2105 = P/100

2105P = 400(100)

2105P = 40,000

P = 40,000/2105

P = 19.0023752969

P = 19 percent

I say choice A. You say?
