I need to listen to non-ellevator music or even audio books when Im painting or writing. Ideas seem to flit about more freely and bump into my head.

now, I have to admit, thats one Leone movie I missed.

Yeah it seems to have gone under the radar alright.
But Rod Steiger and James Coburn, you can't go wrong.

A low-life bandit and an I.R.A. explosives expert rebel against the government and become heroes of the Mexican Revolution.It's done on a grand scale like the Good the Bad and the British.

If you can get past the accents you'll enjoy it. Actually no, the accents are great especially Steiger's.


That's one thing I'd have to say about Morricone's music you need to have seen the film it was in.
When you're listening to his music you have to get the context, visualise the movie too.
They're so intertwined and that's what made his film scores great.

They changed that movie's name when not enough folks were going to see it. A Fistful of Dynamite.
