yahoo mail

i'm sure this has been around for a bit but is this possible?
i have win10 like most everyone. but when i click an email link anywhere i get the win10 app to open and that is shat i want to change. years ago when i clicked an email link that link to me to yahoo mail jsut like if i clicked yahoo mail, but now i get win10's version of yahoo.

so is there anyway to make it so when i click a email link that link actually goet to yahoo and does not open win10's mail and that then is linked to yahoo?

seems there must be a way. in window 7 i never had this issue but now windows wants us to use win10 so now to get the old yahoo mail program to open again. thanks
