My ex was a swinger with her ex-husband and they also had an open marriage for 13 years (WTF)? She told me about it when we got together, but I didnt realize the way it made her. She started F***ing someone else within 4 days of us breaking up. I guess she has that ability to disconnect and just do that, as she has done in her swinging and open marriage. I tried to beg and plead for a couple weeks and have not gone NC. Not sure it will work (or if I want it to), but we will see. I wonder if it will work if she has that background....to be able to just disconnect so easily and have sex with strangers. I don't know. Strange situation for me. I know I should let her go. I want to see what NC does.....we shall see what happens. Crazy! Can't make this stuff up! Should I expect No Contact to work? Any advice? I really appreciate it.

You refer to her as your ex, and speak of having broken up. It sounds over and done with. I suggest you leave it that way. I'm not understanding the No Contact thing. I would think neither of you would have any desire for contact.

I don't get the issue here.
The minute after someone breaks up with you, they are free to have sex with other people. At that point it is none of your business who they sleep with. Am I missing something here?
Did you really mean "break up"... or are you trying to do some sort of "let's take some time off and see if we can fix it" thing?
