It is written in the Old Testament that the Messiah would be betrayed by a close friend for 30 pieces of silver. Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Before the world was created, Judas was selected for this purpose. What chance did Judas have to be saved? None is the answer. How is that in any way just and right? You see, someone had to betray Jesus to fulfill the Old Testament prophecy concerning the betrayal of Messiah by a close friend. Had it not been Judas, it surely would have been someone else. You say?
@harpazo,
The gospel of judas explained that.
@RABEL222,
I agree.
Gospel of Thomas reinforces Jesus' prior knowledge of Judas' purpose.
Can you imagine how christianity would have turned-out if ALL the Gospels had been biblicised?
I'm up for glimpse of that 'world' Once I'm done in this one...
Have a Lovely Day
@RABEL222,
The gospel of Judas is not biblical.
