Year of Birth (not necessarily yours or mine)

I saw on Facebook that today is William Boyd's birthday. Hopalong Cassidy to the uninitiated. I just learned he was born in 1895. He was my favorite actor when I was between ten and thirteen. I saw him in person in the yearly Fresno parade. I had his longhorn neckerchief slide.




Anyway I thought it would be interesting to do a thread about the years public figures were born. It would be a good opportunity to do thumbnail sketches or whatever
