I have Bitdefender, a virus scan, on my iMac. When I get a web page, the program will place a green check next the web address, to show that the site is not malware or some other nasty thing.
Starting a couple of days ago, when I went on A2K, instead of the green check, there was a red X. When I hovered over the X, the program said that "Bitdefender cannot read this web page". It also said that they are not aware of any problems with this site.
Why is this happening? I have been on A2K for years, and it never happened in the past. In fact, since I am careful where I go on the internet, I had never seen the red Xs before.
Weird. I turned off A2K, and then restarted it, Now I am getting the green check.
If anybody knows about these things, I would still like to know why it happened.
@Phoenix32890,
no idea, but a reboot often clears out stuff that ain't workin' the way it's spoze to...
@Region Philbis,
Tried it again, and its all green!
@Phoenix32890,
Interesting. Over the last few weeks, I have been having the same problem on other websites. I simply refresh the page, and it goes from red to green. Weird!
