Hey everyone. I have a homework where I need to do the caption of the external morphology of Lingula from the phylum Brachiopoda.
Can you please help me?

seek out a copy of "invertebrate Fossils" by Moore Lolacher and Fischer, its one of the best study sources on brachiopoda and other marine invertebrates. Lingula is probably the oldest species of brach still on earth so fossil or live they look pretty much the same
