You hear a lot about how S Korea contained its outbreak.
Besides identifying clusters, isolating the ill, and quarantining the direct contacts, what else did they do? They did not “shut- in” the country.
I even read where the cellular structure of the Korean was not so susceptible to the virus.

I think one thing is that they tested early and often. We're being affected by the fact that so many people haven't been tested and we know there are asymptomatic carriers out there.

Island nations seem to to better than nations with land borders. I think that South Korea did testing and quarantine with everyone who entered the country.
South Korea is practically an island nation (their only border is sealed militarily).
