Hey! So, there’s this guy I’ve known since Middle School and became friends with him when we coincidentally ended up in the same high school and had a class together freshman year. Everyone always thought we were dating cuz we were really close. In sophomore year, we didn’t have class together again and that’s when I realized that I liked him a lot. I started seeing what I thought were signals that he liked me but I wasn’t sure so I didn’t react to them. He then ended up dating some other girl and this made me extremely sad. Junior year, she dumped him after she moved out of town and he was coincidentally placed in the same piano class as me. I didn’t feel anything then but again ppl thought we were dating cuz of the chemistry whenever we’d be together. This year, (senior year) I thought I was fine and had moved on from him til I saw him playing with this other girl and I got extremely jealous and talked to my bff about it. One day, she (my bff) walked up to him and told him that I liked him. He texted me that night and asked if it was true I said yes and he said he’s had a crush on me since freshman year but didn’t wanna tell me cuz he thought it wasn’t reciprocal. He asked me out but I said I wasn’t ready because my parents are freakishly strict and if they even find out I’m texting a boy, they’ll flip out and I’ll be in trouble. He then said it’s fine, we can take it slow and just talk, we’re still friends. We talked a lot for like 2 months. Now, this semester we have a class together and on the first day, he came up to me and spoke to me and we laughed. The next class, he ignored me by trying to make me jealous with another girl, I didn’t react and then the morning of the next class he then texts me asking me for the assignment (mind you, he completely ignored me the previous class like I didn’t exist) so I say no, u’re being fake and everything and that day, he ignores me even harder and plays with that girl. Until today, we’re still ignoring each other but then he always views my story on social media. Should I just give up and call it quits? I’m lost I don’t understand and sorry if it’s this long
