That's funny. I just saw a headline yesterday about the cannabis industry in Colorado using CO2 from a brewery to grow cannabis.

It's quite funny that they would promote these products in this way considering both brewing of alcohol and smoking of cannabis is basically direct consumption of fermentation/combustion, which are both intensive CO2 producers.

Fortunately, I don't think either beer-drinking or cannabis-use generates as much CO2 as any of the major emissions industries, such as transportation, construction, power plants, or livestock; so I guess it does little harm to let the breweries and cannabis growers have their little CO2-absorption promotion.
