why is my friend like this?

Well? That's a good start.

Not enough info for random strangers online to answer. Is she in high school? Older? Does she want to possibly make this a career? Clearly she finds enjoyment in this hobby (?). Is it a hobby?

We're strangers who don't know anything about her. She's your friend. Tell us why you think she does it. I mean... does it bother you that she does this kind of activity?

Maybe this is her cup of tea. Her best way to manifest her sense of humor. Maybe she has an unbridled imagination and this is her creative outlet. If you are her friend, maybe you can help her put her work out there into the bigger universe. Help her produce YouTube videos or what not.

People do all sorts of funny things, if they're not hurting anyone else then let them get on with it.

Instead of obsessing why someone else does funny things you should be doing funny things of your own. That way you'll have a life and be less likely to develop stalkerish traits.

You know I just saw a post that said :

"I have a female friend that questions why I likes to do weird makeup herself and click pictures of it. She annoying asks me why I do. I'm having trouble understanding from a psychological perspective why she just won't keep her mouth shut and simply mind her own business. Please help me in understanding what could be the reason/reasons she might be doing it."
