In this instance, the process is a means to an end, a record. It's not the end in itself. Also, it's unclear as to what process is referred to by the second mention of "process." Is it self-referential? If it is, it would be better to say, "the process is the recording of all the things we have done during 3 weeks of preparation for the exhibition, and the problems that we have encountered during that process.
