Does he actually love me or am i tripping?

I started crushing on this boy when he started looking at me, when i noticed him. I quickly fell "in love" and since then he is the only thing i think about everyday. Everytime we somehow get to talk to each other "when he was standing in the checkout" he was always being very nice, he looked at me in the eyes, laughed at my jokes and so on. At school he is very popular and hangs with the weird guys, guys who smoke and do those stuff. So at school he one day stares at me alot, the other day ignores the **** out of me. Sometimes he sits facing back from me, while im trying to get in eye contact with him. He ignores me. We even take the same bus, there sometimes he tries to sit close by and sometimes sits far away from me as soon as we get eye contact. So does he actually have feelings for me or am i tripping. if he doesnt i would just try to get over him and not spend my time on him, but i have to make sure.
