How do you think parents would feel if someone were to get rid of their stuff without asking ?

I have always believed that as the old sayings goes what goes around comes around that especially goes for parents that throws or gives away their kids stuff away with out asking, and that also goes for trying to manipulate a child to get rid or donate something...

@Methen,
Are you looking for revenge under cover of some notion of karmic justice?

@Methen,
I never threw any of my kid’s stuff away, but I did put in it bins or boxes to get it off the floor. Food and drinks shoved under the bed were No-Nos.

What kind of “stuff” are you talking about?

Have you ever heard of two wrongs don't make a right? Be the bigger person and walk away.

Without knowing more circumstances that is what I suggest.

@Methen,
If I, as a parent, left my stuff laying around, did not appear to appreciate or care for my stuff and I was asked repeatedly to put my stuff away I would not be surprised if it disappeared.

Parenthood often involves re-experiencing aspects of childhood from the other vantage point, i.e. that of parents/adults.

As a parent/adult you sometimes realize that things you are dealing with in children are things you did as a child and thus you are reaping what you sowed then.

Of course the same could be said about the reverse, what parents do to children they will experience later, maybe when they are reborn as children following death.

Whatever form the hereafter takes, we can be sure that what goes around indeed comes around. Until we find solutions to all the problems that cause suffering, suffering persists and begets further suffering.
