Hello
I soon had a friend of mine visiting and I got slightly reddish cut on the lip (I did not saw active bleeding) As I know that the mouth lip is considered mucous membrane I am a bit worried as his gums was very red and I fear that blood with saliva can land on my cut. I know that this is not a great risk but can anyone explain me why? To what degree the salive kills hiv in the blood.
We did not kiss just talking very close to one another
The main reason for asking is because I live in small town and will have difficulties to go where hiv testing is available.
Thanks in advance
