HELP- Question regarding conditions associated with El Niño

While solving one of the MCQ, I came across a question on El-nino which has 3 statements in it. one of the statements read - "warmer than average temperatures in Australia and Southeast Asia during El-nino" and the answer key shows this is correct statement but why?

During El-nino, we have weak walker cell circulation which i.e low pressure centre shifts to South America coast and heavy rainfall there in S.America while we have high pressure centre in Australia which leads to severe drought. Since, pressure and temperature share inverse relation (as per boyle's law) so wouldn't Australia experience lower-than-average temperatures since there is high pressure formation?

Please help and clarify my doubt and let me know where I am getting it wrong or missing anything.

Thank you so much

@varunks19,
Because the El Nino ( Southern Oscillation) is comprised of neutral, el nino and la nina.
