Which sentence is clearer or is there a better choice?

Trusses have been ordered, and we are waiting for a delivery date so that we can schedule installation.

Both are clear.

It would depend upon my mood at the time of writing to determine which I would choose.

They're both clear. The second one is more concise, less wordy.
