Just curious! For me, it is helpful to know a member's location. I gain insight into their postings. I can judge whether we may share some common experiences.
I would assume that some people want that information to be private. A lot of folks think there are a lot of nuts out on the 'net; unfortunately a lot of the time they're right.
I agree, I like to see where people are from too, but I guess if they want it private, its private.
I agree with both Jespah and Larry. Mine is there as Canada, but Canada is a big country.
It is? Where is Canada anyway?
I've only been there once - was skiing at Whiteface Mountain/Lake Placid, and we decided to ski a day at Mont Tremblant.
You'll never see me on ski's. lol! It's very nice here isn't it though.
It was beautiful, but the worst drivers I've ever seen in my life.
I live in a small town (300,000) compared to NYC where I am originally from. If I named it, I would compromise my anonymity because being an American makes me a member of a minority here. That would inhibit me from posting personal details and possibly controversial opinions.
Larry
I can't argue with that :-(
Trailblazer
Welcome to A2K. Love the name :-)
Hi gezzy, thanks for the welcome.....
I look forward to "getting to know you ...day by day!"
You're welcome and thanks :-) You'd have a very hard time not getting to know me as you will probably see me everywhere, lol ;-) I'm looking forward to it :-D
Hey Trailblazer, welcome to a2k, have fun while you're at it!
