Terre Haute - can we get there from anywhere?

One of my colleagues needs to go to Terre Haute for a meeting.
It seems to be a "you can't get there from here, or there, or anywhere" place.

The airport in Terre Haute, Hulman Field, is for international cargo.

Is there any simple way to get a person to Terre Haute?

Nor from here.

Aw, there has to be. Any town I've heard of just has to have facilities equivalent to Farm Town.

Did you check Orbitz, and stuff like that?

We've been all over the net. We can get her to Indianapolis and then she'd have to drive, which isn't really a great option for ensuring she gets to the meeting on time (doesn't know the local roads etc.).

Any regional feeder airports or private airports there? I'm sure you could charter a small plane out of Indy, there are always pilots looking for paid ways to keep their hours up.

Flying into Indy is, as far as I've ever been able to tell, the fastest option. Terre Haute isn't a huge town (it's fairly large but not huge) and everything seems to be right in I-70. I-70 is fairly easy to drive so it's only about an hour trip from Indy.

Thanks, lads.
We may need to look into a limo service from Indianapolis.
There is NO room for error in getting to the meeting late, and getting lost is a real possibility once my colleague leaves the interstate.

I firmly believe that Terre Haute is not a place but a state of mind (as is the rest of Indiana). I had a friend once who insisted that there is no such state as Indiana. There is only a road called the Indiana Turnpike which runs through absolute emptiness (if you discount the corn fields, that is). I know that there is a very fine symphony orchestra named the Indianapolis Symphony because I've herad them perform. But, in truth, they could be from anywhere. What's in a name? I don't believe there is a Terre Haute Symphony, but I could be wrong, of course.

On the other hand, there definitely is an Indiana, Pennsylvania.

You'd be proud. She's a goer.
