George's United States of Amercia citizenship. How and when did George Soros become a United States citizen? Was it by marriage?

Born in Hungary, went to England then hit the U.S. He became a citizen in 1961. Not sure if his first wife helped or if she was a citizen ot the US. Some reports indicate she came over from Europe.
