The end of time
By: Xuan-Kha Pham
When the universe expands it gains mass. According to the equation E=MC² to increase the mass, the amount of energy must also increase. To increase the mass of the universe when it is expanding there must be an increase in the amount of energy. Since this universe is a closed system and energy is finite, the universe will stop expanding as it gains mass because energy is finite and cannot increase forever. To increase the mass which expands the universe forever, there must be an infinite amount of energy which this universe does not have. The expansion of the universe will halt and space-time will stop expanding as well. E=MC² inflated the universe from the singularity creating time and E=MC² will halt the expansion of the universe ending time. Time will reverse direction as an opposite direction, equal magnitude when the action reaction will take effect. To explain the concept of increasing mass depending on the increase of energy I will explain it this way. A person uses energy to pitch a one pound ball into empty space. The motion of the ball creates inertial mass. To increase the inertial mass of the ball any greater, the pitcher must exert more energy in his pitch to speed up the motion of the ball thereby increasing the mass of the ball or inertial mass. Because the pitcher has finite throwing energy, the ball thrown will not be able to develop more mass, it stays the same. The inflating universe with its increasing mass cannot gain mass indefinitely because energy is finite. The universe will eventually stop expanding thereby space-time will also come to a halt.
