Re: Questions about Bangkok
KISS_THAILAND wrote:I have heard a few things about Thailand that I would like to confirm since I will be going there soon. Anyone with any information to any of the questions below please respond:
1.) What is the average cost of a 5 bedroom beach house and a 5 to 10 bedroom mansion with at least couple of guest houses on several acres at least? If you have an answer to 1 but not the other please still respond.
2.) I would like to get 5 women to do my cooking, cleaning, gardening...etc so I was wondering what the labor costs are.
3.) Lastly, what is the price for...well..."a lady of the evening"? "High-class" ladies preferably.
Like I said, any and all information would be helpful.
Thank you very much.
Sawadee KT, you are not being very helpful in your question format.
Thailand is a reasonably large country approximately the size of France. Indeed, it is also an extremely beautiful country.
The main beach areas, Krabi, Cha-Am, Hua-hin, Ko Samui (an absolutely beautiful island) in The Gulf of Siam. Ko-Panyan, Phukett, and the rather seedy town of Pattaya are the main beach resorts. Prices of purchase vary tremendously. As foreigner {farang} you would not be able to purchase any freehold, unless:-
1. You were purchasing an apartment in a condominium which has government approval to sell on with title.
2. You formed and ran a registered business with Thai partners and employees.
I will quote you prices in BPS purely as a guide line for your benefit.
Houses can be purchased from as little as £5K or £6K rising up to £400,000..00( £400K) Park developments are presently building some beautiful mansion type ultra modern houses in Phucket around £28, million baht, approx £450,000..00. Below are some details of agents I know who would be willing to assist find exactly what you are looking for. Oh, if you are a single male or female, you could always marry a Thai and purchase in his/her name. But beware, you may find you have married the family, uncle Tom Cobbly and all, and you will be expected to provide for them. They just move in matter of fact anyhow.

You could employ good, hardworking maids and general staff from as little as £20. monthly plus food and accommodation. A small room with bed, sink/shower/wc would suffice.
I would be cautious regarding high class ladies of the evening. 'Super Stars' as they are commonly known. Aids and other sexually transmitted diseases are not un-common in Thailand. However, you could find a suitable lady for your purposes of 'escort' from £5..00 to £25..00 per night. You could no doubt strike a discount deal.
Good luck, but be cautious.
