I was talking to the guy fitting my windows today, and he started talking of a documentary he had seen about a thing called rods. I had a look around on the net, and have spent most of the day reading about this topic. Have a look at this site and tell me what you think

My alien is named Rod, so I'll have to check this out.
The first result in my google search stated that they travel faster than the speed of light. The second and third results were on Art Bell's web site. Thats about all I need to know. Its not a waste of time to look into what causes the phenomenon, but there is always a logical explanation.

No actually I'm not. I said there is always a logical explanation for extraordinary phenomenon, like objects that travel faster than the speed of light. Last I heard, Einstein said that was impossible. Doesn't mean it is, but is probably so. Then I said with a friendly smile, no offense intended.
