Not shocking or surprising. Trump is a total fraud, and many Americans just ignore it. They think Trump is responsible for our economy, because they are the uneducated. Even financial pundits guess how our economy will perform, but that's based on guesstimates, not scientific conclusion. It's impossible to forecast economic activity for the future, because the world economy is always in flux.
