It has been said, "According to Playdough, every thing must be made of something." Did he say that? If so, can someone supply a citation to support it?
@tsarstepan,
Quote:every thing must be made of something
Undountedly his most famous line encapsulating his contribution to metaphysics and philosophy.

Playdough (plato/plado as it was rendered in ancient hellenic script) worked as a wall-paper cleaner leading to a deep understanding of the material.
Some scholars suggest that this familiarity with material was borrowed from Euripides' (you rippa dese you buy a new pair).

@tsarstepan,
It's a fallacy.
A falsity.
A 'Thing' is what it is.
EVERYTHING is made of Everything, not 'some thing'.
Can't assist with who 'said' it - But it's incorrect.
