I havnt been the best poster on this site in a while. And for that I am sorry. Life for me has urned into one great big drama. What is up you ask? Well let me tell you some things that have been going on.
1) my unit got activated. There were two places I could get sent. One being Iowa, the other being Iraq. And I was on the list to go to Iraq. They needed a total of 20 peoole to go and on a list of 30 i was number 15.
2) So i was in ft. brag for about 3 weeks when i was in accident. A big 2 1/2 truck hit the humvee that I was driving and I broke three ribs and my left lung was punctured. My heart was barely missed. So the doctor calls me extremely lucky. I would tend to agree with him. So i was in the hostipal for a while. Then I was released and sent back home.
3) The unit has not left of Iowa yet, and I am now on the list to go to Iowa for a year. So for the last three weeks i have been spending just about all my waking time getting ready to go to Iowa. It sucks but hey its better then Iraq and the pay is good. We have to be in Iowa by june 10th so we have a lot to do and right now has been my first down time in a long time.
Im sorry i havnt written sooner... i will do my best to keep in touch... but things are very busy right now.

I'm very sorry to hear of your accident, but relieved it was wasn't more serious.

Glad to hear you turned out ok after the accident...
And you're probably better off in Iowa, there's a lot of worse places you could go.

So sorry to hear about all the trouble, but perhaps it will all work out for the best. At least it kept you out of Iraq, right? Try to think about that the next time you need pain meds. (Or is that part of it over? <crossing fingers>)
Iowa isn't so bad, y'know. And YAY! The pay is good!

Seed, you dear thing. I just this moment posted a message about you on WA2K. Often I feel that something mysterious is going on. I am so sorry to hear of your injury, but delighted that you won't be going to Iraq.

Yikes, seed! I'm glad you're ok AND that you aren't going to Iraq! I'm also glad that you'll maybe be around a bit more for a little while.
