Galileo Galilei is the father of observational astronomy. He discovered that the Earth is not the center of the Universe. He said, "All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered. The point is to discover them." He also said, "You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself." Science is completely wrong about the Universe. There was no Big Bang and there is no Dark matter - the foundations of modern cosmology. The Universe is much, much older than 14 billion years. Only the matter falling into the center of galaxies is less than 14 billion years old. Our sun is not orbiting the Galaxy, it is falling into the center at a rate of 220 km/sec, or 491,832 mph. We only have about one percent of the Earth's lifetime left before the end of the world. Our precious water supply will evaporate long before then. It's time for humanity to shift focus from trying to prove outdated theories, to figuring out how to move half a million miles an hour. Our survival depends on it.
@Montezuma III ,
There has been a recent spate of crackpot theories on this forum from attention seekers who are clueless about the
complex nature of what constitutes ' a coherent scientific paradigm'. The increase in this 'crackpottery' seems to be a type of social media virus sustained by the search for a 'hit rate' in lieu of real life social relationships. The contents of these so-called 'theories' are of course scientifically irrelevant, the key factor in an attention seeking mission being 'controversy'.
Never has the phrase 'get a life' seemed more appropriate.
"There are none so blind as those who will not see." it is easier for scientists to believe theories that have gaping holes in their logic, than to visualize what every spiral galaxy clearly shows. You can accept the Big Bang theory and Dark matter, but can't see what astronomers can measure - all the stars are moving at the same speed. I have a life, and it involves illuminating people to the truth. Your heckle has as much weight as Dark matter.
@fresco,
All of science is flooded with crackpot theories, even according to the scientists' own estimates. But in any case, theories are not refuted by personal insults, name calling, or making jokes. They can only be refuted by better science.
Thank you Jewels. Galileo also said, "In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual." The logic problems behind the Big Bang and Dark matter motivated me to search for a better answer. The big problem with the Big Bang is there are photos of galaxies colliding. The problem with Dark matter is - not only can they not find any - but IF it existed, the matter at the center would still have to rotate faster than the matter at the edge to maintain equilibrium. If one takes the time to think about stars flowing down the spiral arms, it satisfies the problems with both the Big Bang & Dark matter.
@Montezuma III ,
Here's your last 'hit' from me.
The ridiculous ploy of putting yourself on a par with Galiileo is one of the more feeble attempts at contoversy that we have seen on this relatively sane forum. That alone invites the 'troll' label, irrespective of the verbiage you have the cheek to call 'science'.
@Jewels Vern,
An apt avatar photo to accompany the comment 'grow up' !
Well, your 'last hit' gives us something to look forward to....
The only comparisons I make to Galileo are that he discovered that the Earth is not the center of the Universe & I have discovered that all matter wasn't created at once; and our shared belief that the truth is easy to understand once it is discovered. Any idea that this is about myself is purely your concept. Thieves think everyone is a thief, homosexuals think everyone is gay, and selfish, materialistic dottards believe that about the Universe.
