Dog bite

I got bitten by a stray dog and was only able to get my tetanus and anti rabies shot after 2 hours and then i cleaned my wound with soap and used ointment
1) I can still see some swelling after 2 days near dog bite..is it ok ?
2) both the vaccine (tetanus + anti rabies ) was put in the gluteal region but when i checked in internet , it is said that it should be put in the deltoid area. Now i am really worried about this whether the first vaccine will be effective or not ?
