I'm seeking fine art paintings and drawings from the western canon that illustrate the following uses of shadows:
• where the shadow cast by one figure or object is deliberately drawn to comport to a different figure, pose, or object, for humorous, satyrical or other effect.
• where the shadow is "detached" from the figure or object casting that shadow, to reveal that the object is floating or flying
So what is your question?
