Sanded finishing or brushed finishing wood coffee table, which is better?
Sanded one would be smooth and easy to clean.
Brushed one would be a little rough, more durable.

@joycezhu430,
Your question is a bit confusing. By "brushed" I gather you mean with a varathane (or some such) finish that's brushed on and by "sanded" you mean with no finish whatsoever. Do I have you right?

With a coffee table and all that can be expected to be on it, you won't want to go with no finish as everything (wine, water, etc) will be absorbed by the wood and stain it permanently.

Oil-based finishes, like varathane, can be purchased in semi-gloss or gloss varieties. Water-based finishes are available in flat as well.

Does this help?
