This line was spoken by Nietzsche to a horse that was being beaten by his owner. I think he means that he can empathize with the situation the horse finds himself in. I plan to use this as part of a tattoo. Thank you so very much for your time and attention, have a beautiful day!

Nietzsche? Or something Nietzsche really wanted to say ... but got tongue tied at the time the opportunity arisen to verbalize the words and make them a legitimate quotable quote.
