Need help with a science project.

im an hnd student in the uk and for the course we have to design and carry out a 40 hour lab project. ive selected testing the efficacy of different hand gels (alcohol and non- alcohol based). the big problem is i cant manage to hit the 40 hour mark and ive sort of done everything i can think of. im hitting around the 22 hour mark and that includes making up various broths and agar plates and doing cell counts. not sure where else i can take this.
any help would be appreciated.
