I have a Toyota Camry that's leaking coolant from the gasket. Which gasket would cause the leaking? There is no water in the oil so it can't be the head gasket.

@mjbruns,
It might be the water pump gasket.

@Ponderer,
Or thermostat housing. I guess I would look to see where the water is coming from.

@mjbruns,
If you dont know which gasket, then how do you know it is a gasket at all?

My sisters Suzuki got a cracked engine casing and was leaking coolant. But the mechanics wanted to charge 16grand to replace the engine - the exact price she paid for the car to begin with! I told her to tell the mechanics to F--k off with that price, obviously she would be better off driving the car to the wreckers and getting a different car.

Anyway, water was not getting in the oil so i told her she can just keep driving it and topping up the water.... that was like 4 years ago, and the car is still going today and still leaking water.
