Who was the Announcers on The Cisco Kid Radio Shows from 1946-1955? It wasn't Rye Billsbury or Marvin Miller! They were on the 1942-1945 shows! It probably was Charles Arlington, as he was the Announcer on some of them! But, did he do all the 1946-1956 shows? Also. who was the Announcer on the 1950's Cisco Kid shows on television? I checked all the Internet Sites and never saw any references to who the announcer was!Thank you!

I used to listen to the show, from about 1948 until it ended in the late fifties, with Mel Blanc doing the final Pancho. But nobody seems to know the announcer's name and he does not self identify in the episodes I just checked out. If you find out I would appreciate your mentioning it here.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Mather

The Cisco Kid
In 1946, Mather was cast in the title role of Mutual's adaptation of The Cisco Kid, opposite Harry E. Lang as Pancho. The series, which was pre-recorded, ran from 1946 to 1956 and for more than seven hundred episodes. In addition to playing Cisco, Mather also was the announcer for the program in its later years.

Oh Cisco. Oh Pancho. Bromance?
