How did you pass the time without A2K? No long hours in front of the computer? Let us know!
I abuzzed. Can one say that here?
JM
Followed my regular routine - Abuzzed first, while clicking for the rainforest - then checked my email at a couple of e-ddresses - went to taunton.com to check out their reno/cooking/gardening/ carpentry/etc forums. I knew (from fishin's note - thanks to fishin) - that a2k was down, so i didn't bother wandering over here.
here is what mr. and mrs. hamburger did: talk EVEN more to each other, go shopping(carry-on case for travel to europe that's to start on "MARCH 18"!!!), visit a lot of the newspaper websites i had neglected, visit some websites providing INNOCENT fun(music, jokes, funnies). we survived. hbg
Other - did offsite stuff for A2K.
Walked around the streets of Abuzz, found some A2Kers even.
I would look through the site
How Stuff Works.
When A2K was suspended, that is what occupied my leisure time (together with posting of my resume online in attempts to find a new job).
Well, I went to work - came home, did a bit of this n' that - went to sleep, and then it was Saturday!!! I shopped, coffeed, cleaned up lots more piles of cat chuck from my suddenly chucking cat - went out to a "do" - got slightly pished, had lots of fun, came home - bothered a few people chatting - then A2k came back on line unexpectedly!
Checked a2k at regular intervals to see if it came back before Monday. It did.
Abuzzed a little, did a bunch of washes, CLEANED OUT A BUNCH OF PAPERS THAT HAVE BEEN HANGING AROUND FOREVER, took a pretty long speedwalk. It was a nice break, but I am glad to be back!
I got some needed work done around the house and swam in the very deep dark waters of abuzz
I'm still in recovery from those waters and I'm thrilled to be back home at A2K :-D
Abuzzed some - did house work, read some and worried about the war.
I took a glance at the early history of my participated threads at Abuzz (about 2.5 years ago).
Abuzzed (Good grief!
), read the Saturday paper, tried not to think TOO much about the looming war, had dinner & saw a film (The Quiet American) with a friend, did a bit of cafe sitting, then home to bed ...
IT'S GREAT TO HAVE A2K BACK!
It sure is great to be back :-D
I was off-line for longer than a2k.
Rae, me and Doug have been painting the apartment, which was in dire need. We should finish up tomorrow.
Thanks to A2K we got a lot more done than we anticipated, he he!
Like Roger did, I checked A2K from time to time. Read a book, surfed the 'net, played with the cats. Checked A2K again. I am surprised BigDice has not attacked the computer yet. He'll probably save it for his free day tomorrow and spend hours and hours in the front of that thing. :-)
