How Accurate/Sensitive are Ultrasounds for Peyronies?

I have been able to feel a very small hard bump in penis for years with no curvature. I had an ultrasound that didn't detect any plaque or calcification. Are ultrasounds accurate enough to detect smaller plaques and milder cases of peyronies? Also, is there anything else this could be or is it normal?
