Ever get premonitions or just feelings that you can't shake? I've got one now. It's a "major change or big event on the horizon" feeling. Anybody else have this, or am I just wacko?

Whack-o or Quack-o?
I know exactly the feeling you mean. Do you remember the symbolic string breaking near the end of The Cherry Orchard. Every so often I hear that sort of sound--somewhere between a twang and a pregnant click and I know that the local pieces of the universe are going to slide into new configurations.
Oooh.
I have them occasionally... sometimes they pan out, sometimes they don't. I never ignore 'em, though.
Same here. Always keep them in the back of my mind but I guess there's not much else to do with them.
Noddy, I'm afraid I've never read The Cherry Orchard -- and if I had I probably wouldn't remember the title or author. I'm like that with literature and such. However, you've peaked my interest so I'm going to go look it up now.
Why is it that women always get these psychic premonitions,
but men never do?
For example, my wife always knows when I'm going to have sex,
but I never know.

For the non-literary the gloomy Russians are sometimes more meaningful through allusion than face-to-face.
Umm..us women are intuned to our inner feelings...you men...lol, just grope yours!
Not only are we aware of our inner feelings, but we sense of the music of the spheres and the rumbling advances of implacable destiny.
