Who's your favorite depiction of Death in books, movies, etc...?

Meet Joe Black

Death comes to an old man near his 65th birthday and asks in exchange to make it to that day, he allows Death to experience Life. The ending is eerie, where the daughter falls in love with Death and they spend more time together. It implies she embraces her finality by living in the moment.

Oh, and Brad Pitt is just divine!

Heh, Death in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (rewatched it last night), a parody of Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal.

Piers Anthony - On a Pale Horse
Wonderfully fantastic and doesn't rely on any sort of preconceived ideas.

Monty Python - The Meaning Of Life
It's tough to argue with the women on skates.

@neptuneblue,
I, too, enjoyed Meet Joe Black and almost picked it as one of my choices.
